Project Overview
CLEA Tech is not your average IT company. They exist to do good, providing smart, affordable tech solutions to charities, nonprofits, and community-focused organisations across the UK. But their impact doesn’t stop there. CLEA Tech also creates valuable internship opportunities for disadvantaged young people, helping them build confidence, gain real-world experience, and develop future-ready digital skills.
When CLEA approached me, their old website was outdated, tricky to navigate, and didn’t reflect the heart and soul of what they do. My mission? To design a refreshed, responsive website that connects with their audience and shines a light on their passion for purposeful IT.
The Challenge
The existing website didn’t do justice to the incredible work CLEA Tech delivers. It felt corporate, lacked visual warmth, and didn’t tell their story effectively. Information was there, but it wasn’t engaging or easy to find. What CLEA needed was:
A clear message that showed who they are and who they help
A modern, welcoming design that was fully responsive
A content structure that could grow with them
Built-in features to help generate leads, drive engagement, and support future marketing

I gave CLEA Tech a brand-new website that is:

I built the new site on Squarespace for its ease of use, security, and built-in marketing features. Here’s what we included:
Email marketing integration – CLEA can now collect leads directly from the site and run email campaigns with ease
Lead magnet setup – ready for free resources, downloads, or guides to attract new contacts
Blog functionality – to share news, stories, and sector insights that boost SEO and show thought leadership

The Result
The new site feels like CLEA Tech – approachable, values-led, and genuinely focused on helping others. It gives potential clients confidence in their services, while also showcasing their commitment to supporting young people through tech.
With the tools now in place to grow their mailing list, share updates, and highlight their partners, CLEA is set up for long-term success and impact. And because it’s built on Squarespace, they can make edits, publish blogs, and manage their own content without relying on a developer.
A Final Thought
This was more than a website project, it was about helping a fellow purpose-driven organisation step into a digital space that truly reflects their values and ambition. I am proud to have partnered with CLEA Tech and can’t wait to see how their new site helps grow their reach and impact.
